Drawing

These drawings are inspired, in part, by 19th Century Japanese Graphic Art and contemporary Chinese Printmaking.

The marks in the drawings also resemble the texture of lines and dots found in etchings and lithographs. The absence of colour emphasises the structure of the image and a sense of proximity and distance.
